Tree Service Areas Across Columbus OH
We cover Columbus and the suburbs around it. Every area below has its own page, because the things that actually change a tree job — who collects the debris, who owns the tree in the tree lawn, what the soil does in a windstorm — are different from one municipality to the next. This trips people up constantly around Columbus, and it decides who is responsible for a tree and its debris.
Same ZIP, different city
ZIP 43085 is a good example: roughly 70% of it is the City of Worthington, about 26% is Columbus, and around 2% is the separate village of Riverlea. Three addresses on the same street can sit in three jurisdictions.
Townships inside the metro
Areas such as Worthington Hills, Sharon Hills and Mt. Air carry a Worthington mailing address but are unincorporated Sharon Township. There, fallen trees in the right-of-way are the Township Road Department’s responsibility, not the city’s.
Debris rules change at the line
Municipal collection is usually limited by bundle size and branch diameter, and normally excludes wood from a tree removal entirely. We confirm the local rule before quoting so hauling is priced in from the start, not added later.
Street trees are often not yours
Some municipalities own and prune the trees between the sidewalk and the street on a set cycle. Worthington, for instance, prunes its street trees every five years at no charge to the homeowner. We check before touching anything near a right-of-way.
The same standard in every area we serve
Whichever suburb you are in, the crew, the standards and the cleanup are identical.
ISA certified arborists
Work performed to ANSI A300 pruning standards, by people trained in tree biology and structural assessment, not just cutting.
Fully licensed and insured
Full liability insurance and workers’ compensation on every job. Certificates of insurance provided on request.
Complete cleanup
The job is not finished until the debris is gone and the yard is clean, including the wood your municipality will not collect.
